Organizations:

- For Athletes:
- Enable account creation and event registration.
- Share your registration details (e.g., name, emergency contacts) with the relevant Organization for event logistics and safety compliance.
- Deliver personalized event updates based on your registrations or preferences.
2.2. Communications
- Email Notifications: We send event-related emails (e.g., registration confirmations, schedule updates) via Twilio, using SG-REG domains (e.g.,

- SMS Notifications: For Athletes who opt in, we send event-related text messages (e.g., tournament milestones, safety alerts) in compliance with 10DLC standards.
- Support: We use your contact information to respond to inquiries or provide customer support.
2.3. Analytics and Platform Improvement
- Use Google Analytics to analyze anonymized usage data (e.g., page views, session duration) to optimize Platform performance, enhance user experience, and identify trends.

We offer optional one-way SMS notifications for Athletes who explicitly opt in, ensuring compliance with TCPA and 10DLC regulations.

- In-person requests at events, documented by the Organization and shared with SG-REG.
- Consent: By opting in, you authorize SG-REG to send event-related text messages on behalf of event organizers. Consent is not a condition of purchasing services or participating in events.
- Records: We store opt-in details (e.g., phone number, timestamp, opt-in method) to demonstrate compliance with carrier and legal requirements.
3.2. Message Details

- Registration confirmations
- Tournament schedules or changes
- Safety or logistical announcements (e.g., weather alerts)
- Restrictions: SG-REG prohibits Organizations from sending marketing, promotional, or arbitrary messages via the Platform.
- Sender: Messages originate from a centralized SG-REG phone number, managed through Twilio.
- Frequency: Varies based on event needs (e.g., daily during tournaments, less frequent for pre-event updates).
- Costs: Standard message and data rates may apply, as determined by your mobile carrier.
3.3. Opt-Out Process
- How to Opt Out: You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying “STOP” to any SMS message.
- Updating your preferences in your account settings at www.sg-reg.com.
- Confirmation: Upon opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again.
- Processing: We process opt-out requests promptly, typically within 24 hours, to comply with TCPA.
3.4. Compliance and Monitoring

4.2. With Service Providers
We engage third-party providers to support Platform operations, who process your information under strict confidentiality agreements:
- Twilio: Delivers email and SMS notifications.
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data for performance analysis.
- Authorize.net and PayPal: Process payments for subscriptions and event fees.
- Hosting and Storage Providers: Store Platform data on secure servers.
These providers may access limited data (e.g., phone numbers for Twilio, payment details for Authorize.net) to perform their functions.
4.3. Legal and Safety Purposes

6.2. Communication Preferences
Email: Opt out of non-essential emails (e.g., event promotions) by clicking “unsubscribe” in email footers or updating account settings. You cannot opt out of critical emails, such as payment confirmations or account alerts.
SMS: Opt out of SMS notifications by replying “STOP” or updating account settings, as described in Section 3.3.
6.3. Cookies and Tracking
Manage cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality, such as session persistence or personalized features.

SG-REG relies on Organizations to comply with these requirements and may suspend accounts if non-compliance is detected.
8. U.S.-Only Services
The Platform is designed for U.S.-based Users only. We do not knowingly collect or process information from individuals outside the United States. If you access the Platform from another country, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with local laws. Data collected is stored and processed in the United States.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including:
- Athlete Data: Retained for the duration of your account or event participation, plus any period required by law (e.g., emergency contact records for safety compliance). Typically, data is deleted within 12 months of account inactivity, unless otherwise required.
- Organization Data: Retained for the duration of your subscription, plus up to 7 years for tax, billing, or legal compliance purposes.
- Technical and Analytics Data: Retained for up to 12 months for security, analytics, and performance monitoring, then anonymized or deleted.
- SMS Consent Records: Retained for at least 4 years to comply with TCPA and 10DLC requirements.
After retention periods, we securely delete or anonymize data using industry-standard methods, except where retention is required by law.
